Cedric Richmond, the co-chair of the Harris-Walz campaign, gave an update to the campaign watch party at Howard University in Washington, D.C., shortly after midnight on election night.
Richmond said that Vice President Kamala Harris would not be addressing those at her watch party until tomorrow, but thanked all of her supporters for being present on Tuesday evening.
“We still have votes to count. We still have states that have not been called yet. We will continue overnight to fight to make sure that every vote is counted, that every voice has spoken,” Richmond said.
Harris, he added, would be back tomorrow to address both her supporters and the nation, as the votes are counted in the remaining battleground states that will decide the election….
