Meta Platforms, the owner of Facebook and Instagram, as well as Amazon are paring down their diversity programs, following similar decisions made by a number of corporations in recent months. Meta said it is ending its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, including those for hiring, training, and choosing suppliers, it said in an internal memo to employees on Friday.
