Former President Donald Trump will announce his running mate at the Republican National Convention on July 15, the former president told Fox News anchor Bret Baier.
Mr. Baier said he had a conversation with former President Trump on July 15 just hours before the Republican National Convention kicked off in Milwaukee.
The announcement will end months of speculation and will be made two days after an assassination attempt on the former president at a Pennsylvania rally.
Several names have been floated as possibilities including Sens. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum.
Mr. Burgum made an early run for the presidential nomination, and after dropping out, endorsed former President Trump shortly before the Iowa Caucus in January….
